SIZE:  H 33 cm including the stand (28.5 cm without stand)  W 15.5 cm

This Buddha is an unusual one as it does not resemble the classic Lao styling of that era the Facial features resemble Sukhothai buddhas (Thailand) and was probably cast toward the end of the Sukhothai dynasty, Thai Buddhas throughout the ages has often influenced Lao buddha design. The buddha has had additional work of silver inlay to the base and to the necklace probably along time after casting which is rare and has traces of gold gilding.  It has a leg and a section of base and part of his Ushnisha (flame) missing, but it still is a great piece and has been well mounted
