This Buddha has spent a long time buried in the ground like so many of the South East Asian Buddhas. It has big eyes with a smile on his face, a classic trait of Laotian Buddhas. It is coated with a heavy Malachite green patina. The patina has been scraped off the face to reveal the original bronze.

A silver sheath Buddha in good condition for its age as these types of Buddhas rarely survive given they are made from very thin sheets of silver which are wrapped around a clay figure of a Buddha and then gently beaten into shape.

This Buddha has a nice face. As you can see the altar has worn away over time however it is still very well mounted. And though the tip of Ushnisha (flame) is missing, this piece still shows off its beauty and has a green grey patina.
